Our tatami mats (OXBMAT) are used in the construction of tameshigiri targets. At ProForge Knives we spend a great deal of time testing the swords that we sell. We feel it is our responsibility to challenge our blades to ensure our customers are getting the very best. We perform these tests using our own brand of "Tatami" Mats. These mats are the largest you will find anywhere, and are far more substantial, allowing you to construct taller, more difficult targets. ProForge Knives tatami mats have become quite popular, and we sell quite a bit of them. Not only are they the largest mats available, but they are also the most economical to cut because it requires fewer mats to create challenging targets. Sold in multiples of 10 with quantity discounts: 10 mats @ $4.50 each, 20 mats @ $4.25 each, 30 mats @ $4.00 each, and 40 mats @ $3.83 each. Due to increasing fuel costs, there will be a "Large / Heavy Item" surcharge to cover the high shipping cost, which can be $2.00 per mat or more.
